The barrel ships with gas block installed and the dowel pin in place. This barrel is designed for a 1" long gas block (INCLUDED). A standard front sight base is 1.9" long and WILL NOT FIT. The installation and the assembly on the barrel should be performed by a qualified gunsmith and/or certified armorer. Removal and installation of the gas block dowel pin is required to complete the assembly process.
